Samantha Reese, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Steady Ground, On Your Terms.
The challenges that come with cancer when you’re under 50 are unique.
They can leave you feeling shocked, scared, and alone. You’re asked to make life-altering decisions when you’re building the life you want. Relationships shift—whether it’s with your family, friends, medical team, or even strangers. The ups and downs of cancer can linger, even in the background. But you’ve decided you want to keep building your life, even if some things look different. Wherever you are in your cancer journey - recently diagnosed, in treatment, or in survivorship - you’re welcome.
Caregivers face so many of these same challenges —and more— often with little help or recognition. If you're in that role, you’re welcome in this space too.
Sessions with me invite you to share what you want about your story. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you and help you show up more fully in your life—whether that’s in your relationships, your routines, or your sense of self. We move at your pace, acknowledging the ever changing nature of serious illness.
I’m here to offer support, tools, and strategies to help you feel more empowered, less overwhelmed, and less alone.
Discover what helps and leave the rest behind.
FIND YOUR FOOTING.
Whether you’re in treatment, navigating survivorship, or caregiving, cancer can leave you feeling off balance. Together, we’ll create a safe space to process your experience and find ways to feel more grounded.
NAVIGATE WITH CONFIDENCE.
Learn strategies to manage stress, communicate effectively with your medical team, and make decisions that honor your needs. Build skills for balancing treatment demands with life beyond cancer.
LIVE BEYOND THE DIAGNOSIS.
Cancer doesn’t define you. We’ll focus on what matters most to you and design a plan that supports your values, relationships, and joy.
